Paper submitted to RESPECT 2026 on community-led data literacy

Congratulations to Rafaella Sampaio de Alencar, Xingyu Song, Jimmara, and Daniel for submitting a paper to RESPECT 2026. The paper makes a case for community-led data literacy while highlighting challenges in realizing it. Xingyu led this work and had presented it earlier at NCUR 2025. Rafaella brought a new lens to the work. We hope to build on this toward more community-centric data literacy starting this coming summer.
